Students in Washington Center’s Adapted Physical Education classes have been learning how to play adapted games and sports.   Justin Paden, a Furman education major, is learning about educating intellectually challenged individuals through his Field Experience placement at the school.  Mr. Paden serves as a role model for the students and encourages physical activities such as participating in an adapted game of tetherball.  Mr. Paden attributes his interest in education thanks to his role model, former football coach, Alan Broadnax, who is a current Washington Center employee.
